T4 Syndrome

T4 Syndrome is characterized by complaints of upper back stiffness and possibly numbness of the arms and hands. Often times, the person suffering from this will have headaches as well. These symptoms are typically worse at night and with activity. Although more common in women, men can also be effected.

Thorough physical examination and history of the patient is crucial in determining whether the patient has this syndrome. Upon examination, the tenderness and/or numbness is commonly reproduced.
